Buying a new home is exciting but it can also be a bit daunting and even confusing. That’s why it’s so important to have a real estate agent who can not only help you find the right house, but also help you navigate the buying process. The goal in that is to negotiate the best price possible for your dream house, and to also make the transaction go as smoothly as possible. Here is an overview of the services I provide from start to finish in the process of buying a house to achieve those goals:
CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT
- This is a chance for us to meet and for you to ask me questions
- We will go over your wants and needs in buying a home
FIND YOUR NEW HOME
- I will search for properties with the features and locations you want that are in your price range (and unlike some agents, I never push my clients to increase their price range just to make more money off the sale!)
- You will be given access to the best real estate search sites available and if you desire, will be set up on a search that will automatically email you new properties that match your desired criteria
- Inform you on the general real estate procedures and market customs in the area
- I will be schedule and attend appointments with you to view houses
PUT IN AN OFFER
- I will help you determine and submit the ideal offer to make on the house (there’s more to it than just giving them a dollar figure!)
- Along the way, I will communicate regularly with you to answer questions and make sure you feel informed and empowered, including helping you negotiate any counter offers from the seller
GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE TRANSACTION
- A lot happens between an offer acceptance and closing, and I will walk with you through each step
